A personal project to produce a pencil life drawing of a ‘Little Owl’ (Athene noctua) as a Christmas gift. This was produced only in pencils HB – B4. The detail in the illustration are very fine which in itself was very time consuming but the end result is a stunning piece which resides still on the mantelpiece.
