1999 to 2003 working at Questions Internet Services. The company primarily produced publishing materials for teachers and local government bodies. We built teaching news websites and intranets to share resources and best practice documents for teachers.

My accountability was heading UI/UX design team and processes. Design and build of intranets, web sites, marketing materials, C.D Roms including concepts and designs. Communication of design briefs to staff across teams and implementing. Day to day administration of the design team and it’s resources. Maintaining a fluid dialogue between design team and management.

Back in these days long before mobile devices we were designing for desktop screen size of 800px to 1020px width. Css was basic and we used tools such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash software from Macromedia.
